Spanish premiere of ‘The Last Laugh’

“Is the holocaust funny?”. Spanish premiere of ‘The Last Laugh’, a documentary that explores the limits of humour, with interventions of Sarah Silverman, Mel Brooks and Louis CK among many others. Friday the 21st of April at 18:00 at the CCCB Auditorium.

In ‘The Last Laugh’, comedians from various environments but equal fame such as Mel Brooks and Sarah Silverman explore the role of comedy in one of the biggest tragedies in the history of mankind (and, at the same time, main source of black humour in our imagery): what Ricky Gervais called “The good old Holocaust”. With clips by Gervais, Louis CK and other renowned comedians, pros and cons of turning a tragedy into a source of laughter are analyzed, and the sense of this strange human tendency is reflected upon.
